Adivi Sesh’s recent portrayal as an army officer in the biopic of the Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan following the 2008 Mumbai attacks has been receiving praises from every nook of the corner since its release.
Many celebrities including Pawan Kalyan and others also applauded Adivi Sesh’s performance in the film. Now Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi too joined the list.
The Acharya actor met with Adivi Sesh over lunch where they shared some good food and hours of conversations. Sharing the picture on his Instagram handle, Adivi Sesh wrote - ‘Today feels like my highest honour Sir! @Chiranjeevikonidela. You spoke to us for hours. Fed us an amazing lunch. And explained what you loved about the film. Such attention to detail, such insightful questions. I always loved #Megastar the hero. Today, I witnessed your heart of gold. #IndiaLovesMAJOR ’.
In the picture, Megastar was seen welcoming Adivi Sesh with a flower bouquet as they happily posed for the cameras. This picture is now trending on social media and not to mention the fans going gaga to see their two favorite stars together.
Coming back to Major, filmmaker Sashi Kiran Tikka directed this project while Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu under his own banner GMB Entertainment joined hands together with the Sony Pictures International Productions and A+S Movies to bankroll it.
Actress Saiee Manjrekar who made her debut with the 2019 successful hit Dabangg 3 starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sudeep in the lead roles played the love interest of Adivi Sesh in the flick.
Apart from the lead cast, Major also roped in Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Revathi, Anish Kuruvilla, and Murali Sharma in the supporting roles.
Shot and released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages, Major hit the theaters on June 3 of this year and storming with collections at the box office ever since.
The film unit of Major also arranged a special screening on May 24 in limited cities across India.
