Delhi Special Judge Sent Vijay Nair On 14 Days Judicial Custody In Delhi Liquor Gate | English News

In connection with suspected irregularities in the Delhi excise policy case, a Delhi court on Thursday ordered Vijay Nair, the former CEO of events business Only Much Louder (OML) and current communications director of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), to spend the next 14 days in judicial detention. Nair was placed in judicial custody by Special Judge M K Nagpal after the CBI claimed that his custody was no longer required. On October 20, he will now be presented in court. Nair is accused by the CBI of actively contributing to the creation of the Delhi government's 2021–2022 alcohol policy. Nair was allegedly involved in meeting with the other co-accused and liquor manufacturers as well as distributors in different hotels.
