Loki actor Tom Hiddleston set to embrace parenthood! Fiancee Zawe Ashton flaunts baby bump at Mr. Malcolm's List premiere

Congratulations are in order for Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton as the couple is expecting their first child. The pregnancy announcement comes just weeks after the duo confirmed their engagement. Zawe, 37, was seen flaunting her baby bump at the premiere of her new movie Mr. Malcolm's List on Wednesday night in New York City.

For the event, the mom-to-be wore a stunning off-shoulder gown, featuring a beaded empire waistline and cape sleeves. She completed the look with her engagement ring and statement earrings. Keeping her makeup subtle, she pulled her hair back in a half up, half down hairstyle. While the Loki star wasn't present at the premiere, Zawe was joined by her co-stars Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, Theo James and Sianad Gregory, as well as director Emma Holly Jones.

Zawe and Tom started dating a few years back. The two met on the sets of their play Betrayal in 2019 and soon the two got close. They kept their relationship a secret for over two years before making it public. Earlier this month, Tom had confirmed their engagement during an interview and said that he is very happy.

Meanwhile, Zawe's upcoming release, Mr. Malcolm's List, is a period drama written by Suzanne Allain and is based on her novel by the same name.

Tom, on the other hand, is known for playing the character Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor was recently seen in the web series Loki, which takes place after the events of the film Avengers: Endgame (2019), in which an alternate version of Loki creates a new timeline. The character dies in the original timeline.

Now, Marvel fans are awaiting the release of Thor: Love and Thunder. Interestingly, it is the first film in the franchise that will not feature Loki, Thor's adopted brother.
