Liger box office collection day 2

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's movie, Liger has not had the best of days when it comes to the Hindi belt on day 2. With day 1 marking preview shows for Hindi belt, the movie has collected only Rs 4.50 Cr on day one. This, makes the movie total to Rs 5.75 Cr, indicating that there is a strong scope for improvement and how.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger has not received rave reviews from the critics and in fact, has been at the center of quite a lot of slamming. Apart from Vijay and Ananya, the movie also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Makarand Deshpande in prominent roles and boxer Mike Tyson in a cameo.

On its opening day on Thursday, Liger managed to collect ₹33.12 crore gross worldwide, which includes all the versions. The producers had shared on social media about the same.
As for Liger, the movie sees Vijay play the titular role where he is an MMA boxer and has a stutter. While Ananya plays his girlfriend Ramya plays his mother. This movie marks Vijay's debut, and hence, high ropes were indeed riding on this one.
The promotions for Liger were in full swing and everyone was hopeful about the numbers it would make. However, it has clearly failed to make a mark with its story, and so far, it looks like the movie won't make it big after all. With the weekend here, the film might pick up slightly in the days to come.
