According to the excerpts of the FIR, the caller made references to Kanhaiya Kumar (sic) and Umesh Kolhe and said that he will meet the same fate as the two. "Gustakh e rasool ki ek hi saza. Sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda," the caller said, adding, "Your Modi, Yogi Adityanath will not be able to save you. We will send you where Dr Umesh, Kanhaiya Kumar were sent. My people are watching your every movement," the caller said.
It may be noted that Kolhe, a pharmacist from Amravati in Maharashtra, was killed by two men by stabbing in June. In the same month, a shopkeeper named Kanhaiya Lal was murdered in broad daylight in Rajasthan's Udaipur.
The caller also allegedly sent three photographs on Akela's WhatsApp number. Though the complainant tried to make several calls to the number, the calls could not be connected. On September 7, a missed call was received from the number, following which Akela approached the police.
