Fuel Crisis Hits Sri Lanka | Long Queues At Fuels Stations | No End To Struggle | Breaking News

The crisis in Sri Lanka continues after so many months. Long queues of people waiting outside the fuel stations were seen today everywhere. Recently Sri Lankan new government also raised prices of fuel which added to the concern more. Due to banking and logistic reasons fuel could not reach the country, hence they are facing major shortages of petrol and diesel. They were expecting major cargoes with oil supplies about which they are not sure now when they will reach. Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera earlier told the reporter that new companies are not ready to accept new letters of credit and earlier dues are not cleared by the companies.
