Though India had a disappointing campaign, Kohli emerged as the tournament's second highest run getter scoring 276 runs in the tournament, including his much awaited 71st international century against Afghanistan where he smashed 122.
In the third and deciding match of the series against Australia, Kohli scored 63 runs from 48 balls in an innings studded with 3 fours and 4 sixes.
