Ayan Mukerji reveals release dates for Brahmastra part 2 and 3 but not without a disclaimer - deets inside

While Ayan Mukerji did suggest during one of the interactions that he's looking at a 2025 release for Part 2: Dev, he has now also revealed when can we expect Part 3 and if you are a fan of this Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer, it is only going to sound exciting.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra has been an absolute hit with the fans and the movie has minted a huge sum of money at the box office. This Ayan Mukerji directorial has been the talk of the two and for all the right reasons. While Ayan did suggest during one of the interactions that he's looking at a 2025 release for Part 2: Dev, he has now also revealed when can we expect Part 3.

At an event recently, the director spoke about what's to follow and well, we can't wait for 2025 to come sooner already.

He said, "We have a release date target, to be honest. 3 years from now, which is somewhere around Diwali 2025. For part 3, our target is 1 year after that [release of Brahmastra part 2]. I say Diwali 2025 and Christmas 2026. I say this with a disclaimer because we have said this on Brahmastra also, and I think we had about 6 release dates on Brahmastra part 1."

Well, he's right on his part to give fans a disclaimer already given all the delays that happened for Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in the first place.

The movie also featured Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, among others and turned out to do well with a box office collection worth Rs 250 cr. In addition, the movie did mint Rs 400 Cr plus at the worldwide box office, and that, truly speaks of everything.

Meanwhile, both Alia and Ranbir have a few projects that fans will see them in before they are a part of the sequel as well. With Alia gearing up for her Hollywood debut, Ranbir has a line up of films including Animal, one with Shraddha Kapoor, among others. And of course, they will also be embracing parenthood soon!
