Hyderabad: "Our government is working with zero tolerance in matters of terrorism," said Union Minister G Kishan Reddy as three terrorists were caught with grenades in Hyderabad on October 2.
The Hyderabad Police had busted a terror module yesterday and caught three terrorists for conspiring to hurl grenades at public gatherings in Hyderabad's Malakpet.
"Intelligence agencies of Indian government identified different terrorist modules in Hyderabad and foiled them with the help of State police. Our government is working with zero tolerance in matters of terrorism," Reddy said.
The three people have been identified as Abdul Zahed, Mohd Sameeuddin and Maaz Hasan Farooq. Abdul Zahed was previously involved in several terror-related cases &was in regular touch with Pakistani ISI-LeT handlers, Hyderabad Police had said.
"4 hand grenades recovered from their possession. Zahed received these grenades from his Pak-based handlers. He was planning to hurl these hand grenades targeting public gatherings through his group members, thereby causing terror and communal tension in the city," said Hyderabad Police.
