Kia India registers about 80% growth in sales for September 2022

Kia India has released the sales report for the month of September 2022. The company managed to sell a total of 25,857 units of passenger vehicles in the last month. This figure includes sales of Sonnet, Seltos, Carens and Carnival. This indicates an increase in sales by 11,416 units which translates to 79.05 percent year-on-year increase.

Kia India’s sales report for September 2022 is out, they sold 25,857 units of passenger cars which is an increase of 79.05 percent.
Kia India has released the sales report for the month of September 2022. The company managed to sell a total of 25,857 units of passenger vehicles in the last month. This figure includes sales of Sonnet, Seltos, Carens and Carnival. This indicates an increase in sales by 11,416 units which translates to 79.05 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for total passenger vehicles sold by Kia India for September 2021 stood at 14,441 units.
Commenting on the performance, Hardeep Singh Brar, Vice President & Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India said, “We welcome festivity on a positive note, recording our highest ever monthly sales figure. We have been consistent with our sales in the entire CY22, which is 34% up from last year. We are experiencing increasing demand for our products around the festive season, thus continuing our growth trajectory till the end of CY2022”.
Kia India is having a great year, they have already crossed the total sales of calendar year 2021 in just 9 months in the current calendar year. Kia India sold 1,81,583 units of passenger vehicles in India in the calendar year 2021 and has already sold 1,92,024 units year-to-date in 2022.
Kia India sold 11,000 units of the Seltos, 9,291 units of the Sonet, 5,233 units of the Carens and 333 units of the Carnival in September 2022. The Seltos contributed 42 percent, Sonet contributed 36 percent, Carens contributed 20 percent and Carnival contributed about 2 percent to total sales.
Kia Sonet recorded a 109 percent year-on-year increase in sales.
Hardeep Singh Brar added, "Our recent achievement of the 1.5 lakh export milestone within just three years of commencing business in India is another testament to our commitment to the Government's vision and our Make-in-India-for-the-World" philosophy”.
