Shivangi Joshi, who has won the audience's hearts with her endearing performances on a number of daily soaps, is now seen doing dangerous stunts in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. In a recent interview, the popular TV actress revealed that she decided to become a part of the Rohit Shetty-hosted show in order to explore new facets of her personality.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star said that she took up Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 as the show puts its participants in challenging situations. The 24-year-old actress further added that it is important to grow professionally and try out new things
"When we do fiction shows it is a different experience, you live another person's life that is created for the screen. With a show like Khatron Ke Khiladi, it is altogether a different experience. I am not playing a character here, it's all real. I am being myself, facing my fears, doing stunts, getting hurt, and crying for real without glycerine. I did the show purely for the experience which I will not get anywhere else," Shivangi told PTI.
"As an actor, I want to grow and explore different platforms, irrespective of how it turns out," she added.
Speaking about entering Salman Khan's Bigg Boss house, Shivangi said that she is averse to the idea as it is not in "sync with her real self".
Meanwhile, Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 premiered on Saturday, July 2. Among the other contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 are Sriti Jha, Mohit Malik, Rubina Dilaik, Nishant Bhatt, Prateek Sahajpal, Tushar Kalia, Jannat Zubair, Mr Faizu, Kanika Mann, Erika Packard, Aneri Vajani, Chetna Pandey, and Rajiv Adatia.
