Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest running show on television. Very soon, the show will complete 14 years and even today, it has a massive fan following. Recently, the show has been in the news as it was reported that Shailesh Lodha has quit the show.
Shailesh plays the role of Taarak Mehta in the show. This news has left everyone shocked. However, Shailesh or the production house have not given any statement on this. It was also said that Shailesh is not shooting for TMKOC since the past one month. The actor-poet is said to be unhappy due to his contract which prohibits him from taking up other offers.
While this is still the most talked about thing, we recently saw a new entry in the show. Yes, after Shailesh has left, a new character has entered the show. We are talking about Pratiksha who is all set to get married to Popatlal. Actress Khushboo Patel is playing the role of Pratiksha.
Until now, her performance is being appreciated and fans are excited to see her opposite Shyam Pathak aka Popatlal. However, the audience are still not sure whether Pratiksha and Popatlal will finally get married or not.
Talking about Shailesh Lodha, earlier producer Asit Kumarr Modi also opened up about his exit. "All my actors have been working for more than 10 years now. I have not been informed or I am not aware that Shailesh wants to quit the show. If there is any development, I will surely speak about it. As of now, I am focusing on how we can make the show more entertaining for the viewers," Asit Modi told ETimes.
It was also reported that Munmun Dutta who plays Babita ji will also leave the show as she has been offered Bigg Boss OTT 2.
