Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took everyone by surprise when they announced their pregnancy on social media on Monday (June 27). After their wedding, the newlywed soon resumed work. Alia and Ranbir were unable to go for a honeymoon post their wedding due to their work commitments.

While Alia got busy with Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani shoot with Ranveer Singh and then flew down to London for the shoot of her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone, alongside Gal Gadot, Ranbir got busy with the trailer launch of Brahmastra and Shamshera. He later jetted off to Spain for the shoot of Luv Ranjan's next alongside Shraddha Kapoor.

Amid the hectic schedule, the couple will now reportedly steal some time for each other and will head for a 'quick babymoon'.Reportedly, the couple will be holidaying somewhere in the European countryside.

Bollywood Life quoted a source saying, "She will finish her shoot in the first half of July. But the two haven’t had the time to go on a honeymoon due to their packed schedules. But they will head for a quick babymoon before heading back to Mumbai. European countryside is on their mind where they can just relax in each other’s company and plan for what lies ahead."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia and Ranbir will share the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which is slated to hit theatres on September 9. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.

Besides Brahmastra, Ranbir has Luv Ranjan's next romantic comedy film, for which he will be reportedly flying to Mauritius for the next shooting schedule. He also has Animal, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Shamshera opposite Vani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.

Alia, on the other hand, is currently in London shooting for Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone. She will star in the film alongside Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. She also has Darlings and Jee Le Zara along with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
