Bharat Mata Puja: Breaking Update coming in from Mangalore University as it cancelled the 'Bharat Mata Puja' event that was scheduled for tomorrow, and allegedly, it was done under pressure. Earlier PFI submitted a memorandum to the district commissioner and told the principal to not allow any controversial event inside the university premises. The students submitted a report saying that it may interrupt communal harmony as the flag that Bharat Mata was holding was saffron. It was not a tricolour and there could be an issue due to religion in the university. This kind of event earlier was also kept on hold on condition with no classes disrupted.
