When Anushka Sharma said she and Virat Kohli do NOT see themselves as a 'power couple': 'If we started to...'

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who tied the knot in December 2017 after dating each other for some time, are undoubtedly one of most loved celebrity couples. They rarely share glimpses of their personal lives online but every time they do, the duo leaves Virushka fans in awe. Their mushy pictures and appreciation posts for each other sure make us believe that they're a power couple.
But, Anushka and Virat do not feel the same. Yes, the couple is in fact very 'awkward' with the fame and stardom they enjoy. In an old interview, Anushka had spoken about the nature of their relationship. She revealed that they are similar to each other.
In an interaction with Film Companion, she had said, "The other day someone asked me this question about being a power couple and how do we manage it, and I told that person that we don't see ourselves like that. If we started to see ourselves that way, then there is something wrong in the nature of our relationship. It's not even a thought that arises in our mind."
She continued: "If someone were to have an insight into our lives, they would see that we are very simple people wanting to do very normal things. We are very awkward with the fame we have. We don't embrace the fame and the stardom, and I think that's why we connect with each other so much."
The Zero actress added that she feels Virat and her are "male and female versions of each other."
Well, no wonder they leave us screaming 'couple goals'!
