2023 Triumph Speed Twin

The new 2023 Triumph Speed Twin has been introduced in India with updated colours.

Triumph Motorcycles India has rolled out the pricing for the new yearly updated 2023 Speed Twin retro cruiser motorcycle. The bike has been priced from Rs 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Speed Twin continues to sit above the Bonneville T100 which was also launched recently at Rs 9.59 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
With the MY23 update, the bike has gained new colour options. It is now available for purchase in a choice of four colours - Jet Black, Matte Baja Orange, Red Hopper, and Matte Storm Grey. However, these options have been priced differently with the base Jet Black price starting at Rs 11.09 lakh, Matte Baja Orange at Rs 11.22 lakh, while both the colours - Red Hopper and Matte Strom Grey cost Rs 11.22 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
On the outside, the bike gets updated paint for refreshed visuals, however, the rest of the design remains unchanged. As the name suggests, the Jet Black paint option sports an all-black finish for a neat and cleaner look, while the other options feature stripes on the fuel tank for a sporty appearance. Key design elements such as a round headlight, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, chrome filler cap, flat single seat, twin-sided exhaust, and bar-end-mounted mirrors, continue to make the motorcycle a looker.
At the heart of the bike sits the same BS6-compliant 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This unit is bigger in displacement and also more powerful than the T100's engine. It is rated to deliver 98.6bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 4,250rpm. And comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. Some of the key features on the bike include full-LED lighting, USB power socket, and an engine immobiliser. Moreover, it also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster that displays all the required information in a neat and uncluttered format.
