Actor Vijay Deverakonda is having a very hectic schedule as he is busy with the back-to-back promotional events for his upcoming film, Liger, also starring Ananya Panday. The actor recently attended a press meet in Hyderabad and opened up about his take on social media trolling.

Most celebrities, be it in Bollywood or on the south side, have been a target of social media trolling. While some choose to ignore the trolls, there are a few who grab the attention of celebrities and they don't shy to give back a befitting reply. Now, Liger actor Vijay Deverakonda talked about his take on the trolls.
The Arjun Reddy actor is currently busy with the back-to-back promotions of his upcoming pan-India film Liger, alongside Ananya Panday. The film also marks Vijay's debut in Bollywood.
For the promotion of the film, the actor attended the press conference in Hyderabad where he opened up about his take on social media trolls and his reply was sassy, as always.
The actor said, "It’s common, it’s an everyday thing. Even before I became an actor, aunties, and uncles used to troll about results, college, job, etc and now it’s social media trolling. Be it anything, trolling is always there."
There have been speculations that Liger is a remake of Puri Jagannath's film Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi.
However, the actor has put the rumours to rest and denied any similarities between the two films.
He said, "It’s nothing to Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi and it’s not related to it too. In Liger, we are doing MMA, which is very much from boxing and the entire drama. The son and mother bond and the sentiment is very important in Liger and other than that there is no similarity with Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. I’m a fan of that movie and I really liked it, it’s my favourite. Also, I’m not somebody who will do remakes, so Liger is not related to Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. When you watch the movie you will understand."
Talking about Liger, Vijay essays the role of an MMA fighter, who struggles with stammering issues. Ananya plays the role of Vijay's love interest. The film has been simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu. It is scheduled to release on August 25.
