Bypoll Results; 3 Lok Sabha, 7 Assembly Seats | Can SP Retain Rampur & Azamgarh? | Latest News

Votes are being counted today in three Lok Sabha and seven assembly seats across five states and Delhi, where bypolls were held on June 23. Counting started at 8 am with postal ballots, after which electronic voting machines, or EVMs, will be opened. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Durgesh Pathak has won Delhi's Rajinder Nagar bypolls by over 11000 votes. Counting of votes is also on in Jharkhand's Mandar. In Tripura, bypolls were held on three Assembly seats - Agartala, Jubarajnagar, Surma and Town Bardowali. Chief Minister Manik Saha, who needed to get elected to keep his post, won in Town Bardowali by a margin of over 6,000 votes. After an initial lead, Samajwadi Party is now trailing on both Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha seats.
