As she lauded Alia Bhatt's decision to become a mom at the age of 29, Kareena Kapoor referred to her as the "finest actor" in the last ten years. The pregnancy was described by Kareena, who was present at her cousin Ranbir Kapoor's wedding to Alia in April of this year, as a "normal" move for the "supremely talented" actress.

Kareena was recently asked by Pinkvilla if she had any advice for Alia, who has been the target of disparaging remarks regarding her pregnancy, including the claim that she is too young for it. The actress responded, "She doesn’t need advice on anything...I think that she is the finest actor that has happened in the last decade and for her to be embracing motherhood you know at such a young age, and to choose to do that."
Kareena added, "She is such a brave actor, and such a brave person. It’s (pregnancy) the most normal thing, and you know she is possibly going to continue this great run of her career because she is supremely talented. And that’s what, you need to have conviction in your own self and that is the most important thing."
It follows on from Kareena having to deal with speculation that she is expecting her third child with Saif Ali Khan. The actor claimed that she was unconcerned by the criticism and that, following the discovery of her photoshopped images in which she appeared to be "six months pregnant", she simply wanted to "have some fun”.
Kareena will soon be seen with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. The Forrest Gump hindi version starring Naga Chaitanya and Manav Vij is directed by Advait Chandan.
