New Delhi: India's largest mutual fund house –SBI MF owns Rs 3.97lakh crore worth of equities. The important changes to their holding profile includes for the month of June, large sector buys in financials, materials while the large sell was recorded in the healthcare and energy segments.
Key new purchases made by SBI MF include Paradeep Phospates, Prism Johnson, E-Mudhra, GNFC and Nazara Tech. Key new sales include Everest Industries, Power Mech Projects, Hester Bioscience, Gabriel India and Vijaya Diagnostics.

The best performing funds from SBI MF over the last year in terms of returns are SBI Magnum Children's Benefit Fund, SBI Consumption Opportunities Fund and SBI Contra Fund which have risen by 14-23 percent.

The equity segment saw inflows for sixteenth consecutive month. All equity fund categories saw an inflow in June. Equity flows stood at Rs. 15,498 crore-the inflows however were lost seen since January 2022. Both midcaps and large cap categories saw a decrease in flows, however for the thematic funds the fund flow was increment as compared to May. Equity AUM fell marginally to Rs 12.9 lakh crore-lowest since September 2021, while the total AUM in the MF space was near the Rs 37 lakh crore mark-lowest in 23 months.
The AUM numbers have been under pressure due to corrections seen in the equity markets on account of rising interest rates and fear of global recession.
