Alia Bhatt showers love on MIL Neetu Kapoor as latter turns cheerleader for the mom-to-be; see post

Be it Highway, Udta Punjab, Raazi, or Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt has given many memorable performances over the years. The actress' recent release, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, has also turned out to be a massive box office hit. Recently, Alia received the TIME 100 Impact Award.

Taking to Instagram, Alia, who is expecting her first child with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, shared a post about the same. Soon after, her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor turned cheerleader for her.

The veteran actress shared Alia's post as her Instagram story and wrote, "So proud," followed by a red heart and thumbs up emoticon.

Now, the mom-to-be has reacted to Neetu's post for her. She wrote, "Love you love you," with oodles of red heart emoticons. Take a look below:

Meanwhile, Alia's simple but powerful speech at the award ceremony has also taken over the internet.

In a video shared by a fan account, Alia can be heard saying, "I am immensely proud to be here tonight as a representative of my country. A country that has built both me and my career. India is a country that at its core value is diversity above anything else. And lastly when it comes to making an impact I hope I can continue to do so in whatever way possible. But, for tonight this award has genuinely made an impact on me and my little one who has relentlessly kicked me through this speech."

Meanwhile, on the movie front, Alia will be making her Hollywood debut soon. She will be starring in Heart of Stone alongside Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. Apart from this, she has also teamed up with Ranveer Singh for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is being helmed by Karan Johar.
