New Delhi: As Aishwarya Rai gets ready for the release of her much-anticipated, multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan, she recently got slammed for her appearance during the trailer release of the film.

The former Miss World was called out for “Botox supremacy" and “beauty or plastic” by fans on Instagram and Twitter, alleging she underwent cosmetic surgery.

Bollywood entertainment website, Desimartini also wrote, “A section of people feel that her face has become fatty and also claim that she went under the knife that’s why she looks different. Well, recently, the actress was photographed at the airport. Dressed in a long white jacket and a pair of black trousers, she wore a sindoor and looked drop gorgeous as he flashed her million-dollar smile for paps.”

Earlier this year as well, when Aishwarya went to Cannes, she was subjected to similar scrutiny and trolling. “When did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan become Kim Kardashian?” one Twitter user wondered in the comments.
