Pasoori cover: Kerala siblings break the internet with rendition of Coke Studio's border-transcending banger

The hype of Pasoori, the Urdu-Punjabi language song by Coke Studio, refuses to die even in its fifth month. Now, siblings in Kerala have broken the internet with their rendition of the hit duet by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. The Pasoori cover is trending on Youtube in India.

A sibling trio of singer and Youtuber Dana Razik, Muhammed Durra Razik and Thooba Razik unveiled their own rendition of the pop duet by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill.
The Razik trinity’s soothing vocals have reinvigorated what had become a prolonged run of the original song but that’s not the only thing it got right. Impeccable cinematography involving an earthy indoor charm goes perfectly with Punjabi folk tunes and Pakistani pop elements.
The now-viral Pasoori cover, filmed at an art gallery called Kagrart in Kozhikode, is soaring high among trending videos on Youtube in India after it premiered Wednesday, June 29.
Dana Razik, from the Thalassery district of Kerala, is a popular singer who has won several awards at the Kerala State Kalolsavam over the last half-a-decade, according to Tring. She is best known for her melodic covers of Hindi and Malayalam songs and has appeared on quite a number of radio shows.
Last year, her cover of Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai broke the internet with over 1.5 million views.
