Bollywood director Sajid Khan makes a return to the public eye post #MeToo allegations levelled against him. The director has been away from the screens but will now be seen as a contestant on Salman Khan's reality show, Bigg Boss 16. Here's everything you might want to know about him.

Bigg Boss 16 is here and one of the rather surprising names in the contestant list this season is that of Sajid Khan. He has been a popular Bollywood director, however, he was in the news when his name came up in the #MeToo movement. Since then, he has been away, but the director is known to be witty, and has a rather strong personality.
The director and host has been a part of the industry for a long time now and has to his credit films like Housefull, Housefull 2, among others. He also has cousins Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar while ace choreographer Farah Khan is his sister.
Meanwhile, Sajid Khan has been in the news and often grabbed headlines owing to his controversy concerning actress Jacqueline Fernandez and for being accused of #MeToo. This, sort of marks his return to the screens as he has been away from the public eye for a while now. Following the allegations levelled on him, the IFTDA had barred him from directing films. For the unversed, Sajid was accused of harassing two women.
Post the allegations were levelled against him, there were also a lot of concerns surrounding who will direct Housefull 4 as that was the same time when he was asked to step down owing to the allegations made against him. He was, however, given credits for being the writer on the film.
Sajid is all set to make a comeback with his film soon, and it is also the third fil for Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill. The film will also co-star Nora Fatehi, John Abraham among others.
As someone who has had quite the journey in the industry, it will be interesting to see what follows for the director inside the Bigg Boss 16 house.
