Comedian Kapil Sharma has made it big in the industry without any godfather. He is not only one of the most-loved comedians in the country but also internationally. Kapil, who is currently busy with his US-Canada Tour with his team of The Kapil Sharma Show, has landed into legal trouble due to breach of contract.
Reportedly, a well-known promoter of shows in America has alleged Kapil of failing to perform in one of the six cities he had promised. The promoter further revealed that Kapil committed to make up for the loss of not performing in one of the cities.
According to a report of ETimes, the promoter named Amit Jaitly said, “He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.” The promoter further told the publication that they will definitely take legal action against Kapil Sharma as the case is still pending in New York court.
Kapil is currently in Canada and will reach New York in the second week of July with his team - Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti.
Meanwhile, Kapil has earlier been embroiled in a number of legal cases against him. The comedian often jokes about them in his show and in his recent Netflix stand-up gig I’m Not Done Yet, he revealed details about his personal life where he also spoke about the legal cases that were filed against him. Also, in one of the episodes of TKSS, the comedian also shared that his wife Ginni Chatharth has brought stability to his life.
