Sportier and louder Hyundai Venue N Line set for launch in September

Hyundai India has shared its “Block Your Date” invites, that suggest the launch of a new Venue N Line. The sub-compact SUV will be the second product in Hyundai India’s portfolio to get the N Line treatment after the current generation i20 hatchback. The announcement comes fresh on the heels of the Hyundai Tucson’s launch last week.

Hyundai India is set to launch the N Line version of its newly revamped, sub-compact SUV, the Venue, on September 6, 2022. The company recently shared its “Block Your Date” invitees, about the same, without revealing much.
Just like the i20 N Line, the upcoming Hyundai Venue N Line is also expected to be more of an aesthetic updated version of the standard models. Unique design elements in the form of an N Line grille with angular inserts, N badging along with sharply designed front and rear bumpers.
And if some reports are to be believed then the Venue N Line will also feature a retuned engine, stiff suspension set up, along with sporty dual exhaust and revised alloy wheels. However, unlike the i20 N Line, the Hyundai Venue N Line might be available in two variants.
Mechanically, both are expected to be powered by the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit that produces 119 hp and 172 Nm of torque, while transmission duties will be handled by either a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) or 6-speed (Intelligent Manual Transmission).
Post-launch, the Venue N Line will compete against trim-specific variants of the regular Venue’s competition. The case in point here is the Kia Sonet’s GTX Line variants. Expect the prices for the upcoming Venue N-Line to range between ₹11 lakh to ₹12 lakh.
