A man was left in stitches after a delivery driver snapped a photo of his dog "accepting" the delivery of his sunglasses as proof of delivery.

A man was left confused when he was tracking the delivery status of some sunglasses he purchased online - it changed from "out for delivery" to"delivered" without him having accepted the parcel.

It turned out that the man's doggo, Mazie, was at the front door to take care of the delivery.

The delivery guy took a picture of the adorable pet "accepting" the parcel and posted it as proof of delivery.

Paul Conway, 61, said, "It looks as though they are delivering it to my dog. I found it quite funny as all you can see is the dog looking up at the package in courier’s hand."

Paul said that Mazie is not quite skilled to unlock the door herself. "The courier knocked on the door and my wife opened it to receive the package. But she was behind the door still so they just took a photo of our dog," he said.
