How Induction of Light Combat Helicopters Give India ‘Firepower Boost’ To Keep China, Pak In Check

First made-in-India light combat helicopters (LCH) have been inducted into the Indian Air Force. The LCH, developed by HAL, would be a “big boost” to IAF’s “combat prowess”, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh claims. All-weather combat capability, high altitude performance, and agility are among some of the features of an LCH. These choppers are also said to have armour protection, night attack capability, and crash-worthy landing gear. #IAF #LCH #RajnathSingh
