On Monday, 5 September, heavy rains continued to wreak havoc in Bengaluru, flooding various parts of the city. Several lakes overflowed and swamped nearby roadways, and water invaded residential neighborhoods. Bellandur lake, Hallenayakanahalli lake, and Varthur lake are among those that have overflowed as a result of the overnight rainfall. "This is not the first time this has happened in Bengaluru; it will continue; the problem is that the city is saturated; there is no area for people to build houses," viewers call in to express their thoughts.
