Kundali Bhagya Written Updates, August 22, 2022: When Arjun is around, the Luthra family senses Karan's presence and thinks Arjun is Karan. Preeta resolves to keep Arjun apart from her family after crying over Karan.

In today's Kundali Bhagya episode, Kareena reveals to the family that she believes Rishabh has a younger brother every time she sees him and Arjun together, she thinks it's Arjun. Preeta becomes upset and asks Kareena how she can say this because Arjun is not Karan and the two cannot be compared. Due to his distance from Karan and the fact that he is not a member of the Luthra family as a son, Arjun would never be able to take Karan's place.
Preeta believes that her family has begun to mistake Arjun for Karan as he becomes more involved in their family activities and regularly visits the Luthra residence. She asserts that nobody can replace Karan, and she does not want Karan's significance to be minimized.
Preeta also opposes the family's forming a bond with Arjun. Preeta was the one who pushed Arjun off the dam, but he still feels for her even though he doesn't show it. When Arjun is present, Preeta senses Karan, and she doesn't want that feeling to intensify. She requests that the family keep Arjun at a distance.
Rakhi and her family are taken aback by Preeta's unexpected response. Prithvi hides from the police by sneaking into a car trunk. Arjun talks to the police. He promises to go along because Rishabh is busy with his wife as today is their wedding anniversary. Preeta needs her spouse by her side right now since she is terrified and shocked.
Finally, Anjali informs Arjun that laddoos have been sent for him. The inspector informs him of the assailant who intends to murder Rishabh. He continues and says, Vishnu's wallet was discovered in the hallway. He is asked by Arjun to look into the situation and determine who is planning to kill Rishabh. She queries how he knows so much.
He explains vehemently that Rishabh's absence from Preeta is the reason Vishnu intended to kill Rishabh. He wants to get Rishabh out of the path of his vengeance. He fears it as he notices the inspector up front. He believes the inspector might have overheard him and would look into it.
