Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani's Uunchai has witnessed its first noticeable drop on day 11. The Sooraj Barjatya film is facing heavy competition from Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2.

Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai has been warmly received by the audience. The slice-of-life drama received glowing reviews from the critics and the word of mouth is extremely positive as well. After remaining consistent for the first 10 days at the box office, Uunchai witnessed its first noticeable drop on its second Monday.

Uunchai managed to hold the fort on its second weekend despite the Drishyam 2 wave. The Ajay Devgn starrer has taken the box office by storm. However, since Monday was a weekday, a drop in the collection was pretty much on the cards.
Early box office reports suggest that Uunchai, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani in key roles, earned up to Rs 0.75 crore on day 11, takings its overall total to Rs 24 crore approx.
The film is expected to remain low over the next few days and then again see a jump on the weekdays.

Uunchai marks celebrated filmmaker Sooraj’s return to direction after 7 years. His last venture was Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Backed by Rajshri Productions, Uunchai narrates the heartwarming tale of three 65-plus friends who decide to go on a trek to fulfil the last wish of their deceased buddy.
Besides Amitabh, Anupam and Boman, Uunchai also features Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, and Parineeti Chopra in pivotal roles. Uunchai marks Anupam’s third consecutive box office success after The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2.
All eyes are on Uunchai as to how much it will collect in its lifetime.
