South superstar Kamal Haasan’s latest action-thriller Vikram has been ruling the box office ever since its release. Within two weeks, Vikram collected more than Rs. 300 crore and become the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year.
To celebrate this success, the Vishwaroopam actor met his friend and Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister M. K. Stalin. Kamal Haasan himself shared the picture with the fans and followers on his social media handles.
We can see the duo smiling for the cameras as Kamal Haasan offers a huge flower bouquet to the CM. "Following the success of Vikram's film, my dear friend, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. MK Stalin. The meeting with them took place out of respect. The mind was also flexible," he wrote in Tamil.

Speaking about the celebrations of Vikram’s success, Tollywood star Megastar Chiranjeevi recently hosted a special dinner at his residence for the Kamal. The pictures from this event went viral in no time. Bollywood star Salman Khan was also spotted at Chiru’s residence.
Directed by the Master filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram features Kamal Haasan in the titular role of a former agent who wants to avenge the death of his son, an undercover agent in the narcotics bureau.
The film also stars Tamil star actor Vijay Sethupathi and Malayali popular hero Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles while actor Suriya has played a special cameo as Rolex Bhai.
Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander has worked on the strings of the film. National Film awardee Girish Gangadharan handled the cinematography of Vikram while Philomin Raj, who is known as the frequent collaborator with Lokesh Kanagaraj, worked on the editing.
Produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International, Vikram had a worldwide theatrical release on June 3. The film was also dubbed into Telugu and Hindi languages.
It was recently announced that Kamal Haasan will once again collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj for the second part of the Vikram franchise.
