On Thursday morning, a 68-meter-long bridge on State Highway No. 6 in the area collapsed. The bridge is located near Dhanora and Christiannagar village on the Ranka river. This collision resulted in no fatalities. The bridge gave way just as a Maharashtra State Transport Corporation bus and freight van passed through. The bridge in question was erected in 1982. The bridge was around 40 years old. State highway number six continues on to Gujarat.
