Nissan India will make a big announcement on October 18, 2022. Not much information is available about the announcement, but we suspect that it could either reveal/ launch its next new vehicle or the brand’s strategy for the country. Either way, we can’t confirm anything as of now.

Having said that, it’s been quite some time since the brand launched a new product in the country. It currently retails two SUVs, the sub-compact Magnite, and the compact SUV called Kicks. And the former rakes in some decent sales numbers as well.

Also given the massive shift towards electrifying their product line-up, Nissan could also introduce an EV or a hybrid vehicle. Nissan does sell the Arya SUV that is available with a 63 kWh battery and an 87 kWh battery pack. If this electric SUV makes its way to India, then it’ll arrive via the CBU route. And if we take the equivalent of the European market, then Arya will retail here for Rs 38 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
