Ola Electric car teased ahead of its debut on Independence Day

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal today tweeted sharing a glimpse of their upcoming electric car which is expected to be revealed on this Independence Day (August 15th) at 2 PM IST. The company hasn't revealed any other details of the product. From the teased video one can figure out that it is a four door vehicle with very little rear overhang, so it is likely to be a crossover or a coupe.

Bhavish Aggarwal founder and CEO of Ola is increasingly becoming the talk of the hour in the Indian automotive space. He infamously reveals information regularly using Twitter. He released a teaser video of the upcoming Ola electric car, driving up the hype before the launch. With the car now seen in motion in the video, it is confirmed that Ola's electric car ambitions are very much in motion. The tech honcho had previously mentioned on Twitter that he is going to built the sportiest car in India ever built in India. Ola Electric had recently also revealed made in India - lithium-ion cell.

Ola has remained very secretive about the details of the car. However what we do know is - its going to be a really fast car, its will be showcased in a reddish bronze colour, it is going to have LED daytime running lamps with the LED strip running across the front grill, dual barrel headlamps(probably LED too) and a led lit OLA badge. Rest of the details like power, range, styling, pictures and price will be revealed on the afternoon August 15th.
