Samantha Ruth Prabhu being considered opposite Vicky Kaushal in The Immortal Ashwatthama - Reports

Reports have it that director Aditya Dhar is currently working on fine turning the script of Vicky Kaushal starrer The Immortal Ashwatthama and now, the latest reports have it that Samantha Ruth Prabhu may be roped in as the female lead for the much awaited and much talked about film.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu seems to be all geared up for her Bollywood debut after her stint in The Family Man 2. Recently, reports have it that the actress is all set to make her big screen debut with a Dinesh Vijan film, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. And now, reports have it that she is in contention for Aditya Dhar's The Immortal Ashwatthama.

Reports in Pinkvilla suggest that Aditya is currently working on fine tuning the film's script so as to the film to go on floors in 2023. Since the casting is underway, the Dhar has come around as far as his vision is concerned in line with the financials approved by the studio partner.

Further, the report also stated that he is in advanced talks with Samantha to play the female lead. In addition it also stated how Samantha has liked it so far as well and that things are at an advanced stage.

This means, we might get to see Samantha opposite two of industry's finest if things do workout. Kaushal is currently working on Sam Manekshaw biopic and will be playing the lead for Meghna Gulzar's film. The report suggested that the actor is busy with the film for the next 6-8 months, following which he will work on The Immortal Ashwatthama, if everything falls into place.

Apart from all of this, reports also have it that Samantha is in talks for a movie not just with Ayushmann, but also Taapsee Pannu, as well as a movie with Akshay Kumar, to be produced by Dharma. Apart from that, she also has Citadel.

Now, it will be interesting to see as to what is in store ahead for the fans of the actors as talks become more concrete.
