Samba: After brainwashing and indoctrinating young impressionable minds, now Pakistan wants to pollute the blood of youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Alert jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday foiled a major narcotics smuggling bid in the Chilyari area of the Samba sector.
One Pakistani intruder, who was along the International Border with a consignment of drugs, was shot at and injured by alert BSF personnel.
According to a senior BSF officer, during the wee hours today morning, BSF personnel spotted some suspicious movement of a person holding a bag along the IB in Chilyarithe area of the Samba sector.
Without wasting time, border troopers deployed there opened fire injuring Pakistani narcotics smuggler thus thwarting major smuggling attempt from across the border.
However, the injured smuggler managed to crawl and flee back to the Pakistani side, leaving behind eight packets of heroin worth Rs 8 crore in the international market. These packets were later recovered during the search operation. Blood stains of injured Pakistani smugglers have been spotted.
There are inputs that whatever money is generated out of the sale of the heroine is used to fund terror-related activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Right now, the Pakistani economy is in tatters. To sustain terror-related activities in J-K and Punjab, they are totally dependent on narco smuggling to fund jihadis and the Khalistan movement. Often drones are used by Pakistanis to drop consignment of drugs on this side of the border.
