There's always been an interesting mix of contestants in Bigg Boss and the makers never disappoint in choosing the names of those who will be a part of the show. Bigg Boss 16 goes on air today (October 1, 2022) and the list of confirmed contestants has been creating quite a lot of buzz. If you are wondering the names that you'll see and are not very sure of who is a part of the show, here's looking at the list.

From some known TV faces to some rather controversial ones, and of course, some names that have been the most popular and much awaited, here's looking at the list of contestants who we'll see in the Bigg Boss 16 house in the weeks to come.

Nimrit Ahluwalia

There have been reports about the Choti Sarrdaarni star being a part of this show for a while, but well, it is finally time that she's said yes and fans will get to see this lawyer turned actress in an all new avatar. She quit her daily soap and was seen in reality shows later, but none like Bigg Boss 16. And so, here she is!

Sumbul Touqeer Khan

The Imlie actress sure enjoys a massive fan following and she's managed to ace her role in the daily soap as well. She was first seen with Gashmeer Mahajani and later, with Fahmaan Khan, and both of the on-screen pairings were loved by the masses. While she quit the show and that made way for season 2 and while fans will miss her there, she has got something completely different up her sleeves.

Shiv Thakare

Shiv, won Bigg Boss Marathi 2, so he is not new to the ways of this reality show. However, a winner of the show in a different language, it'll be interesting to see what will he do differently this time around.

Gautam Vig

Gautam has been a well know TV actor and has worked in a range of shows including the likes of Pinjara Khusurti Ka, Ishq Subhan Allah, among others. He has played a pivotal role in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, apart from also being a part of 2 web shows, Hai Taubba and Haale Dil.

Shalin Bhanot

Another absolutely seasoned actor, he has been a part of popular shows like Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Dill Mill Gayye, Suryaputra Karn, Naagin 4, among others, and was in the news when him and Daljiet Kaur decided to part ways after 6 years of marriage as the actress accused him of domestic violence.

Tina Datta

The Uttaran actress has been in the news for being approached for the show on multiple occasions, however, she never picked it up, until now. With a career spanning quite a long time, she's been a part of a bunch of shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi, Karamphala Daata Shani, among others.

Priyanka Choudhary

She made her TV debut with Udaariyaan and she has managed to truly do extremely well for herself. This is going to be a new journey that she takes on, but fans are really excited to see what will she do and everyone has been talking about her already.

Ankit Gupta

Last seen in Udaariyaan, the actor has been a part of some of the most popular shows, including the likes of Sadda Haq, Balika Vadhu, among others. This was quite the surprise entry for most of his fans, but along with Priyanka, fans hope that he does a good job in the Bigg Boss 16 house.

Manya Singh

Manya won the Femina Miss India 2015 title, and we can trust her to bring a lot of style and glamour to the show. While there's a lot to her, she'll truly make for an interesting contestant in the show.

Soundarya Sharma

Soundarya has a rather interesting career mix herself, as she has done her Bachelor of Dental studies and been a resident doctor in Delhi. She later gave auditions as she wished to be an actress and has worked in Raktanchal season 2, among other projects.

Gori Nagori

She is sure to remind many of Sapna Choudhary, who was a part of Bigg Boss 11, and is a dancer herself. Her Rajasthani song Le Photo Le is one that shot her to fame and now, it will be upon her as to how does she make sure to make the most of her time in the show.

Archana Gautam

An actress and model and has to her credit multiple pageant titles, including Miss U.P (Uttar Pradesh) in 2014, Miss Bikini India 2018, Miss Cosmos World 2018, and Miss Talent 2018. She has been a part of films like Haseena Parker, Baaraat Company, and some music videos as well. She also joined the Indian National Congress in November 2021 and got a ticket from Hastinapur (Assembly constituency) for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.

Sreejita De

Also a part of the Bigg Boss 16 list this year is another Bengali beauty Sreejita De, who was last seen in TV show Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! that ended in 2020. This show will sort of bring her back on the TV screens post that. The actress is engaged to Michael Blohm Pape and plan to get married soon.

MC Stan

Named Altaf Shaikh, he is a rapper from Pune and started with singing qawwali at an age of 12. With 2.78 million subscribers on YouTube, he has also worked with Raftaar, and his songs enjoy a huge popularity among his fans with as many as 35 million views on videos.

Sajid Khan

Popular Bollywood director, Sajid is choreographer Farah Khan's brother. He has been away from the limelight post #MeToo allegations levelled against him, but is now back. He is all set to collaborate with Shehnaaz Gill, John Abraham, and Nora Fatehi for a film.
