Auto Companies Share Their Big Plans For Electric Vehicles

From M&M to Tata Motors and even Bajaj Auto are banking upon good growth in Electric Vehicle segment in future. Speaking at the AGM of Tata Motors, Mr. N Chandrasekaran says that they are eyeing a 5x growth in EVs from the current levels by the end of 2023-24. Determined to increase our EV sales at a very significant rate and company is targeting to cross 50,000 cars this year and 100,000 cars next year. M&M too betting big on EVs, in Annual Report shares that the company is planning to launch 8 new EVs in the SUV space by 2027 and that will comprise 20% of volume. Also in Annual Report of Bajaj Auto they say that their Chetak EV is getting good response from the market and after increasing the touchpoints to 20 locations in FY202 they plan to grow it to 75 in FY2023.#Tatamotors #Electricvehicles #AutoCompanies
