EXCLUSIVE| Dheeraj Dhoopar opens up about social media trolling: 'I would ignore trolling and let the time pass by...'

Having been in the industry for several years now, actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has been a part of hit shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Kundali Bhagya among others. The actor most recently participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and impressed fans and viewers with his ace dance moves. Being followed by over four million users on Instagram, Dheeraj receives a lot of love on social media for his frequent posts. But as an actor, who has put up a part of his life for the world to see, one wonders if he has witnessed the darker side of social media.

To this, the actor, in an exclusive interview with Times Now Digital, said that he is grateful he has never had to deal with social media trolling.

"But when I see people going through something like this, I wonder, I feel I would ignore the trolling and let the time pass by..." said the actor. He further added: "I believe with social media coming into the picture, things have a very short recall value. It also depends on what the trolling is all about. I personally would never indulge myself into something that would garner the attention from trollers."

The actor also added that he is extremely careful about what he puts up on his social media accounts. "Honestly speaking, I am very considerate about what I put up on social media. I am extremely careful of what I am putting out or what is being put out by me," added the actor.

The actor currently stars in Sherdil Shergill, wherein he essays the role of a stand-up comic. The show co-stars Surbhi Chandna and airs on Colors TV.
