It's Sara Ali Khan's birthday today and going by the mantra of loving yourself first, Sara has wished herself most adorably on her birthday on Aug 12, 2022. The Simmba actress is currently in New York and keeps sharing sneak peeks from her amazing 'tourist' time there.
Sharing a picture of herself from NY, Sara wrote, "Happy birthday Sara. Always love yourself and when you forget workout for your body mind and soul." Sara also shared another picture stating that the "last supermoon of the year will light NYC skies tonight". Reacting to it, the Khan girl wrote, "Happy birthday night to me I guess."
The Atrangi Re actress had been to NYC to visit her alma mater Columbia University. She shared a few pictures and videos from there. "Looking back with so much gratitude, fondness, and nostalgia," the young actress wrote while sharing the pictures from her 2016 graduation ceremony.
Sara was reportedly a bright student throughout her academic years. And her decision to get into Bollywood did surprise her family a little. Sara had once revealed that she was rejected from Oxford University and she didn't take the news well.
"Mom had gone out with Ibrahim, and suddenly she gets a call from me, howling. And when I mean howling, I don't mean crying in a lady-like fashion. I mean screaming, and crying loudly. She was like, 'what happened? what's going on?' I could not stop crying," she told Bollywood Hungama.

The Love Aaj Kal actress added that she had not anticipated that she will be rejected. Sara said that she was predicting a score of 41 or 42 and also had good recommendations. So the news of rejection left her totally shattered.
However, we are happy with the way things turned out for the actress and she joined the industry. Wishing the b'day girl a very happy birthday.
