A significant terror plan was foiled by security personnel in the Kashmir valley when a lady was apprehended with four kilograms of explosives. "Fortunately, there were no significant casualties or damage, but Udhampur is a garrison town—the northern command headquarters—and we cannot afford to have terrorists finding their way into the facilities," says General GD Bakshi. The lady has been apprehended, as has the bomb. Security personnel is investigating the origins of the bomb and the terrorist group for which she works. A bomb disposal team was also dispatched to the scene to examine the IED. The entire workforce was taken aback when the IED was delivered by the woman in the middle of high security and alert.
