Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one of the celebrities who is known for her fearless statements. The actress has never shied away from speaking her mind on various topics, be it political or controversial. Kangana, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie Dhaakad, opened up on her views on Ajay Devgn’s comment on ‘Bollywood Bonhomie’.
When asked if bonhomie exists in the Hindi film industry, Kangana Ranaut told Mirror Now during an exclusive chat that Ajay Devgn will never promote her movie nor will Akshay Kumar tweet her movie’s trailer.
Kangana said, “But Ajay Devgn will never promote my film. He will promote other films but will never promote my film. Akshay Kumar called me, quietly, to tell me 'hush-hush' that you know, I love your 'Thalaivii', but he will not tweet my trailer.”
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan also shared Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad trailer. However, Big B deleted the tweet soon after.
When questioned about the reason behind this, the Thalaivii actress was quoted saying, “You need to ask them not me. I can't answer on their behalf. Mr Bachchan tweeted my trailer and immediately deleted it. You might ask me why did he do that. I don't know. You need to ask them.”
The Tejas actress further said that though Ajay Devgn has done roles in female centric films, he will not do the same for her. The actress said, “I will be more than obliged and I will be more than grateful if he does. If he supports my film how Arjun (Rampal) has. Of course, it is quite evident that they don't want to. I think all the actors should support me as I support them.”
Kangana further said that she was one of the first ones to praise movies like The Kashmir Files and Shershaah. She said, “I did it openly, not making quiet calls. This bonding exists between them, but when I reach out they don't reciprocate, not yet. But I am sure that will change.”
Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in a lead role in the upcoming movie Dhaakad. The film is slated to be released in theatres on May 20, 2022. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.
