India gets its first batch of Made in India combat helicopters 'Prachand' today. 'It was a smooth and comfortable flight in the indigenously built Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). It can fly in any terrain, weather, and altitude; it has the capability to attack. Our motto is - make in India, make for the world,' Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said at Jodhpur airbase. "Above 15.000 ft, there is no other helicopter in the world that can fly, land & deliver armament ammunition up to 18,000-19,000 ft," Air Vice Marshal Bahadur Manmohan (Retd) tells Mirror Now news anchor Shreya Dhoundial.
