As India marks 75 years of its Independence from British rule, PM Modi reached Red Fort to hoist the national flag. Modi chose to go with an outfit inspired by the Indian flag. He wore a white kurta, pajama with a chakra inspired blue coloured Nehru jacket. Modi completed the look with a kesari colored safa.

Shah Rukh Khan shared a video of unfurling the national flag at his home and wrote, "Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love, and happiness instantly.
