The craze for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is never going to end. The show has been running since 2008 and is still the favourite of many. Jethalal, Daya, Taarak Mehta, Anjali, Sodhi, Bhide, Tapu and all the other characters of the show have a special place in our hearts.

However, Jethalal and Daya are the most loved couple from the show, isn't it? Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani have created magic on-screen and made these characters iconic. It is impossible to see any other actor replacing them or the character in the show.

Disha Vakani took a maternity break in September 2017. The actress hasn't returned to the show since then. The actress did return for a cameo in the show in 2018 but that was not enough for her fans. They have been yearning to see her back as Daya ben.

Many of her co-stars have said in interviews that they are missing her and want her back on the show. We found an old interview of Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal talking about his co-star Disha. The interview is from the time when Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team was celebrating 11 successful years of the show in 2019.

In an interview with the Times Of India, Dilip Joshi said, "I am missing Disha Vakani a lot today. I have worked with her for almost 9 and a half years and it is not a short period. I feel she is still with us, it just that her priorities have changed now. She is a mother now and her priorities have obviously changed and today on this occasion we all are missing her."

Well, we hope Disha Vakani returns to the show soon and we get to see the amazing jodi of Jethalal and Daya again on-screen.
