The Kashmir Files has gone on to become one of the biggest movies to have released on the big screen this year. Apart from the thunderous box office response, the film also went on to tell a true story around the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990s. The film also starred Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles. Apart from fans and industry insiders, the film received a thumbs-up from the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. It went on to create a record by making Rs 300 crore at the box office.
Kher, who is riding high on the success of the film has been very active on social media and fans have been loving it. He took to Twitter earlier this evening to reveal that he had stepped out to watch RRR along with his dear buddy Anil Kapoor. The two silver screen superstars looked dapper for their movie date but it has to be their chat that has our hearts.
During the chat, the two went on to speak about films, coming to watch a film after years and the promotion on Anil's upcoming OTT venture Thar. Unable to watch this endearing video? Here's what the two veterans chatted about:
Anupam Kher: I am really looking forward to RRR. Because I have to have a conversation with him on the 6th I must know, I am a fan, you are a fan.
Anil Kapoor: But 6th ko Thar is releasing, so uski bhi publicity.
Anupam Kher: Of course, I will talk about that also. I am The Anupam Kher. But one thing that is common between me and Rajamouli is that we are in the 300 crore club, maybe he is a little more than that.
Anil Kapoor: Sir if I can be at least 30 crores in my other films, I will be very happy.
Anupam Kher: All the best, jeete raho, jug jug jeeyo
