Viral video: Karnataka man removes python from road with bare hands, internet hates reckless handling

Karnataka: A passenger got down from a bus to move a massive python out of harm’s way after spotting the snake in the middle of the road at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. But even though the man appeared calm while grabbing the python by its head, footage shows him awkwardly handling the reptile before dropping it in an apparent attempt to release it. The inexperienced fella appears understandably terrified, and so does the scaly passerby. Now, a viral video from the incident has divided the internet after Indian Forest Service (IFS) office Parveen Kaswan asked netizens to decide whether he was “Going in wildlife habitat & disturbing or saving it from road accident”, in a Twitter post. Many were critical of the man’s “appalling” interaction with the snake while a few thought he was simply saving him.Video credit: Twitter/@BoskyKhannaRead More
