Vasantrao Naik served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 1963 to 1975, he is also known as someone who remains the longest-serving Chief Minister of Maharashtra.The Maharashtra government collapsed on June 29 after Uddhav Thackeray surrendered as the Maharashtra CM liked to stay away from the floor test.
