Kannada actor Rishab Shetty has taken to social media to celebrate the successful completion of 50 days of Kantara at the box office. Kantara, which has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur has Shetty play a Kambala champion, who is at loggerheads with a DRFO officer ofer differing views. The film, which released on September 30 has successfully completed 50 days at theatres.

KANTARA BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
As per reports, the film has managed to do exceptionally well at ticket windows, well on its way to cross the Rs 400 crore nett mark at the box office. The film has done a business of Rs 370 crore worldwide, while its Hindi dubbed version has raked in Rs 76 crore.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted, "#Kantara *#Hindi version* continues to gallop steadily… Crosses ₹ 75 cr mark… Continues to surprise [the industry] and shock [the pessimists who doubted its potential]… [Week 5] Fri 1.25 cr, Sat 2.30 cr, Sun 2.70 cr. RISHAB ON PLAYING GULIGA DAIVA
Earlier during an exclusive interaction with Times Now Digital, Rishab Shetty had opened up about playing Guliga Dauva in Kantara stating,“Woh ek experience hai. Mera experience. (It is an experience, my experience). I do not want to share it. It will remain inside me as a spiritual journey. It felt like there was a beautiful energy inside me.”
